WWE 2K15 is now available for preorder on Steam, prior to release on April 28 and 10 % off.
The PC version comes with all the content found in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, including MyCareer and 2K Showcase. It also comes with all the DLC available for free, including instant access to the two versions of Hulk Hogan and Sting each, the WCW and NXT Arrival Character packs, the New Moves Pack, Accelerator, and Showcase for Randy Orton and Christian (One More Match), Mark Henry (Hall of Pain), and Ultimate Warrior (Path of the Warrior).
Notably, Paige is once again not available at launch, but this time she will be coming free for everyone later.
The PC version also gets subtitle and interface language support for French, Italian, German, and Spanish, on top of the default English support.
Now, here’s something interesting. Check out the minimum and recommended specs:
MINIMUM:
- OS: 64-bit: Windows Vista SP2
- Processor: Core 2 Duo E6600, AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 450 or AMD Radeon HD 5770, 1GB GDDR (DirectX11 compatible)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Hard Drive: 22 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
RECOMMENDED:
- OS: 64-bit: Windows® 7 / Windows® 8
- Processor: Intel Core i5-3550, 3.30 GHz
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: nVidia GeForce GTX 570 or AMD Radeon HD 6970
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Hard Drive: 22 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
- Additional Notes: At least 2 GB DDR Video Memory
As you can see, the minimum specs are clearly quite low. The biggest roadblock would be the 22 GB hard drive requirement, but it’s quite clear that these can be matched by the specs of the Wii U, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Of course, the reason the game didn't make it to those platforms boils down to money. It's a shame, but it's unavoidable.
It should also be noted that this version comes without camera support. On PS4 and Xbox One, you could take a photo to make your own CAW, but there is no mention of it here. Obviously, this feature did not make the cut. As for why it didn’t make it, we have yet to hear from Take Two.
