Avalanche Studios has released a host of new screenshots for Max Max, their upcoming post-apocalyptic title set in Australia that's based on a series of movies. Don't be too deterred by the fact it's based on films, as the studio developing the title has a pedigree for making fantastic open-world experiences–namely, the Just Cause series.
The screenshots showcase the game's titular character, Max, bashing some raiders, staring forelornly into the distance, and a couple of shots sampling the game's bizarre accoutrement of vehicles.
With both Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Mad Max out in the same month, we'll surely have a lot to enjoy in September.
