Tripwire Interactive has revealed the system requirements you'll need to get its upcoming co-op first-person shooter Killing Floor 2 running on the PC, with both minimum and recommended specs. Suffice it to say, you'll need a relatively beefy computer to get the game running on its highest settings, as it's much more graphically intensive than the first game by a long mile.
Here's what you'll need to get the game running.
Minimum System Requirements:
- CPU: Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz or Phenom II X2 545
- GPU: GeForce GTS 250 or Radeon HD 4830
- RAM: 3GB
- OS: Win7 64
Recommended:
- CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz or Phenom II X4 955
- GPU: GeForce GTX 560 or Radeon HD 6950
- RAM: 4GB
- OS: Win7 64
In addition to the system requirement disclosures, Tripwire has announced plans for a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game that includes all manner of bonus content and a copy of the original Killing Floor.
The Digital Deluxe Edition retails for $39.99–priced at $10 more than the standard edition. It comes with the DJ Scully character, a unique voice pack and set of face and body skins, 3D Glasses, Bowler Hat, and Scullyphones cosmetic items with variants. It also includes a digital artbook, soundtrack, and a copy of Killing Floor.
The game is set to enter Steam Early Access on April 21.
