Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio producer Masaaki Yamagiwa has posted on the PlayStation Blog about the newly released title by From Software, Bloodborne. He stated that the upcoming 1.03 patch for the game will be expected to release globally by the end of April, and that the patch will address numerous issues brought to light by players.
Among the issues being addressed are the game's excessive load times, and "abnormal game behavior after many continuous hours of play," the latter of which sounds like a memory leak that affects the way bosses behave in combat after players keep their consoles on for 12 hours or longer. We detailed that particular bug in a previous post. For now, you can use the memory leak as a trick to defeat bosses easily.
The game's substantial load times, which have been reported to last up to a minute in length, have been a major source of complaints from the playerbase. Needless to say, dying in the game is more annoying than it needs to be.
The blog post also confirms that Bloodborne has sold over a million copies worldwide since it launched on March 24.
