Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be released this summer, Sony has confirmed in an update today on the PlayStation Blog.
"We now have all the code to complete the porting of the project over to the PS Vita platform," SCEA's Gio Corsi commented.
While the home console versions of the game were released at retail, the Vita version will be a digital only game and Sony says it will include all DLC, with the exception of consumables, released to date.
It's unlikely the game will launch with ad-hoc co-op or online support for Raid Mode but Corsi said these features "will most likely come post-launch via an update. This is so we can get the full game into your hands that much sooner."
The console release of the game was well received by most critics when it launched in February.
