Rockstar has promised to launch updates and DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC and console at the same time.
Speaking to GameSpot, the development team explained that Rockstar intends to "deliver updates to PC and consoles simultaneously. There can be occasional variations in timing based on specifics from one console to another," they added, "but PC will not be on a separate timetable to other platforms."
The developer has not yet announced its plans for future GTA 5 DLC but has previously vowed to bring "substantial additions" to the game's story. That said, Rockstar has previously noted that technical limitations on PS3 and Xbox 360 may mean such content will not be released on those platforms.
Grand Theft Auto 5 releases on PC on April 14th. You can check out the game's minimum and recommended specs here and the game's 60fps PC trailer.
