The next Titanfall game could have a traditional campaign and more weapons, as developer Respawn Entertainment has "definitely heard the feedback."
Community manager Abbie Heppe told The EXL Podcast that the sequel will offer "a lot of stuff that people are going to be excited about."
While Heppe would not be drawn on specifics about the as-yet-unrevealed sequel, she did discuss how working on a sequel has its benefits.
"The really nice thing about working on a sequel is we have established the core of what Titanfall is," she said. "We have assets, we have an engine, we have all of these things that we laid the foundation for in the first game that now we can really build off of in the second. So I think there's going to be a lot of stuff that people are going to be excited about. And that's all I can say."
Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella has confirmed that work has started on a "multiplatform" Titanfall game, suggesting it will be released on PlayStation platforms, in addition to PC and Xbox systems as was the case with the original game.
Titanfall DLC has been made available for free on PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
