Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare Ascendance DLC Pack Revealed

March 30, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The four survivors of the prison riot make their way into a Burger Town, as they seek to find out who has set them up.

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have shared a new trailer for the 2nd part of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Exo Zombies DLC, titled Ascendance.

Exo Zombies features a voice cast fitting a medium Hollywood production. John Malkovich is Oz, the janitor, Rose McGowan plays Lilith Swan, an IT worker, Bill Paxton is Kahn, an executive, and Jon Bernthal is Jim Decker, the security guard.

All four are the remaining human survivors of a zombie outbreak in a prison facility. The outbreak was caused by a botched attempt to use the Manticore bioweapon to contain a prison riot. Four separate platoons were sent in to clean up the resulting mess, but were all overrun, and this apparently includes Decker.

The truth is, Atlas were themselves creating and experimenting on zombies discreetly within the facility, and the Manticore caused some zombies to go free, causing the outbreak. As the four eventually rally together to work out their own rescue, it soon becomes clear to them that they were in fact set up.

For Ascendance, the four were able to escape the prison facility and have taken shelter in a nearby Burger Town, with new survivors to deal with to boot. Conveniently enough, of course, the four also get their hands on new gear, specifically the OHM directed energy two-in-one LMG/Shotgun and its OHM Werewolf Custom Variant. There are also four maps (Perplex, Site 244, Climate, Chop Shop), new zombies, and a new EXO grapple playlist.

Ascendance will be available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One first on March 31, and then on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows.
