An industry insider claims that Batman Arkham Knight will now only be a digital download for PC.
Arkham Knight is no longer being released on PC on Disc. Digital only.

Our source is one games writer Joe Anderson, who also works for online retailer ShopTo. Anderson has simply explained that their suppliers have cancelled orders for the game for their store. No further reason was given, and Anderson verified it with their supplier, stating that if anything retailers would only be able to offer a digital download code..
It’s a strange, and potentially disturbing piece of news for a game that’s received multiple delays. To be clear, even if it is true, it would not be impossible for a physical retail release to appear later, perhaps with all the DLC on-disc as a special edition.
Do you think this is indicative of any ongoing issues with development, or perhaps a problem on the supplier side? Is it indicative of lower interest on PC compared to consoles? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
Batman Arkham Knight will be released on June 23 on Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
