You can do some things to make sure the trip mine would be more effective. Mainly, you want to keep it out of the line of sight, so that enemies have no way of seeing it coming. So, on a ladder, you want to put it at the top of the ladder, just out of sight.
In Blood Money, you can pick up cash from other players who have died almost immediately. Check the minimap constantly for green markers, which indicate where cash is lying in wait.
The Mechanic class’ Sabotage gadget is underutilized but very powerful. You can sabotage vehicles, doors, cash piles in cash boxes in Blood Money, ammo crates in some maps, pillar controls, and best of all, battle pickups. You can also sabotage a vehicle if someone is in it, including you. You cannot sabotage elevators, and if you know where to look, you can protect yourself by finding the sabotage gadget.
The Mechanic also has the satellite phone, which is best used by placing it somewhere people usually don’t go, to get them there faster and speed up your team’s victory.
The Professional’s Camera gadget spots anything in a 90 degree cone, at a maximum range of 75 meters. The camera should not be treated as a motion sensor, but best used in external surroundings and on rooftops, somewhat like a rifle scope.
You cannot trigger friendly explosives. However, you can trigger your enemy’s explosives to kill them and their teammates.
You can only shoot out a helicopter pilot using a bolt action sniper. You can take out the entire helicopter in other ways, but this is the only gun that can take a pilot while they fly one.
