It's been over ten years since the first Brothers in Arms video game hit store shelves. The series has been a lynchpin of the first-person shooter genre, and gamers have been loyal to it even through the iterations of multiple iterations of Call of Duty. While Brothers in Arms might not achieve the same mainstream success as Call of Duty or Battlefield, it's got a particularly fervent fan base.
Gearbox Studios, developer of Brothers in Arms, recently came out with a statement that had some pretty big implications. President Randy Pitchford published this tweet earlier today:
I cannot believe it has been ten years since we released the original Brothers in Arms video game. It’s about time for more, huh?

If that isn't confirmation that we'll see another Brothers in Arms game soon, then I don't know what is. Many times, these kinds of statements are vague and veiled, but Pitchford seems to be making a pretty forward statement regarding the future of Brothers in Arms.
