Naruto Storm 4: Hanabi Is A Playable Character, Leader Swap, And More

March 20, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Hinata’s sister will be playable, so we will see the full extent of her abilities here for the first time.

The latest translated V-jump feature on Naruto Storm 4 confirms the abilities Team 7 will be able to use, as well as introducing Leader Swap, and Hanabi Hyougi.

Hanabi Hyougi is Hinata’s younger sister. While she figures very little in the long story of Naruto, we know that she is heiress to the Hyouga clan. She actually had to duel Hinata for the title, but proved in subsequent years that she had more confidence and ninja talents to be more qualified for the role. She appears as a playable character, based on her appearance in The Last: Naruto The Movie. Hence, we will see the full extent of Hanabi’s abilities inNaruto Storm 4 for the first time.

Leader Swap allows you to change your lead character in a team in the middle of a battle, allowing you to switch freely between them in a single fight. This gives you the chance to play every character you have selected in a single battle, but more importantly, it changes the strategy element of gameplay.

Finally, we confirm that Team 7’s special abilities Gamakichi, Aoda, and Katsuyu, along with a new and original combination Ougi, combining Naruto’s Rasenshuriken and Sasuke’s Inferno Style: Flame Control, will be usable in the game’s story mode, among the tools you get to use to take down Ten-Tails.

Naruto Storm 4 is in development for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
