Grand Theft Auto 5 has an online component entitled Grand Theft Auto Online. It's been one of the reasons for Grand Theft Auto 5's prolonged success. Rockstar Games, who develops both titles, recently published a new feature to the online portion allowing players to swap their gender. It's been buggy ever since the esteemed developer updated Grand Theft Auto Online's infrastructure, but they've since implemented a fix, though it does require a bit of your time and effort.
Here's the method to fix your character if it was affected during the gender swap in adverse ways:
- Start GTA 5 story mode.
- Pause the game.
- Open the Online tab.
- Highlight Select Character.
- Choose the affected character and the fix should switch things back to normal.
It's as easy as hopping into the game, really.
