DmC Definitive Edition is out today for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with some slight changes, including the removal of a sexually suggestive line between two of the game's nemises.
Eurogamer noted the edited conversation between the antagonist demon Mundus and his demon mistress Lilith. The original conversation went as follows.
Mundus: "I will control the world through debt. I have absolute power."
Lilith: "The world is at last your bitch, as am I. Nothing left but to grab it by the hair, bend it over and —"
In the Definitive Edition, the line cuts off at "bitch".
Ninja Theory's chief creative director told Eurogamer that "frankly, we didn't like the line," and described the cut dialogue as "irrelevant to the scene."
A new cutscene, unfinished for the game's original release, has however been added to the game.
