The Elder Scrolls Online was just given its sixth major update, which brings with it the new Justice and Champions systems to the game. Weighing in at roughly 20GB in size, the update is a major one that seeks to overhaul a whole host of aspects of the MMORPG, which was released last year.
The new Justice system allows players to commit crimes like theft and murder. Meanwhile, the Champions system offers players additional progression well beyond the game's usual array of levels.
"Accompanying the Champion System are gameplay improvements, fixes, and rebalancing. This will alter the way you’ve previously played as every ability has been amended in some fashion, differences in armor are more pronounced, critical attack and defense are handled differently, and the scale of numbers across the board has changed. Due to these changes, we will be resetting all skill and attribute points," reads the official patch notes.
There's also a new Collections system that allows players to keep track of their mounts, pets, and costumes through the user interface, new PVP abilities, a total overhaul to the game's combat balance, an improved mount system, and updated armor for several of the game's races.
Here's everything else in the patch notes.
The game was recently announced to be dropping its subscription model, so players will soon be able to purchase the game and play it for free.
