Xenoblade Chronicles X could be the most important Wii U release in recent times. While the number of different Amiibo have increased, Nintendo is still lacking on the games front. That's where Xenoblade comes in. This title is promising a number of different things to players, but most important among these attributes is a sprawling, open game world. Most Wii U titles feel very boxed-in, with very little to do outside of the game's main storyline. Nintendo must have noticed this, as they are creating the next Zelda game as an open-world title as well.
If you're interested in seeing more of Xenoblade Chronicles, you'll want to tune in to the developer's live stream on March 6 at 10 pm Japan time. If you're living in the United States, this equates to 8 am EST. You will be able to catch the stream on both Youtube and Nico Nico. The presentation will focus mainly on the battles that will take place inside the game, showing off some of the more nuanced details that you might have missed in previous gameplay trailers.
