It seems that 2K Sports have already started work on WWE 2K16, as they were spotted doing some face scanning for the game.
PWInsider reports that 2K Sports representatives were present at the WWE Raw taping earlier this Monday, March 23, to start scanning talents for WWE 2K16.
Based on this report, the WWE superstars who were available and may have been scanned that day include Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, The Big Show, Kane, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Paul Heyman, The Ascension, The Primetime Players, The Usos, Cesaro, Natalya, Tyson Kidd, Jack Swagger, Stardust, Goldust, The Bella Twins, Paige, Emma, Ryback, Curtis Axel, and Jamie Noble.
It should also be noted that many WWE shows are taped next to each other, and other wrestlers, including Legends, now work backstage as management, agents, talent scouts, coaches, etc. 2K Sports definitely had a bigger pick of wrestlers to scan than we can identify here.
On the other hand, we don’t know how quickly 2K Sports’ face scanning works for each wrestler, so just because they had all these wrestlers available doesn’t mean they were able to scan all of them.
If you may remember, earlier this month 2K Sports already opened up their forums to get feedback from fans on what they wanted from the game next. Clearly, 2K is working quickly to get development on the new game done as quickly as possible.
Who do you hope to make the cut for WWE 2K16 (aside from CM Punk who is definitely, clearly never going to appear again)? Share your thoughts in the comments.
