If you've been paying any attention at all to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, you'll know that the game was originally slated for release today: February 24, 2015. It's that day today, and all we can do now is to wait for the game to come out on its new release date of May 19, 2015–assuming it doesn't slip again.
Given how positive development on The Witcher 3 is looking, it's unlikely that the game is going to miss its next release date. We'd be very disappointed if that happens.
As you can see in this farly old screenshot (but not too old) of The Witcher 3 up on GOG.com's store page, the game was slated for release today with a nice discount of $15.98 if you were purchasing it from the UK or Europe or anywhere it costs more than its US pricetag. The game is even DRM-free on GOG.com if you've yet to pick it up, so you'll be able to play the game on more than one PC without worrying about logging onto Steam or whatever.
That's assuming you decide to get it on the PC, of course. It's also coming out for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, where the game runs on 30FPS instead of 60.
