We have a batch of new details for Xenoblade Chronicles X, starting with our blue skinned and horned friend, Ru.
Mira native Ru’s species has still not been named, but we know he is familiar with his other natives, the Nopons, so much so that he sells his inventions with them. He has an attitude of familiarity, closeness even, with the newly arrived humans, and has a propensity for curiosity, and idioms.
Monolith Soft also explained what each logo means in the segment map, which you can look at in our galleries below.
We have two galleries for you here. The first simply shows what the main segment map logos mean when they are places on the map. The second gallery shows the logos for each data probe, and what they do.
Finally, the trailer above reveals what it looks like when the Hopper Camera is activated, from the camera’s point of view. The camera certainly seems to take inspiration, not only from commercially available tablet or phone controlled quadcopter drones, but those 360 degree cameras.
The trailer is also an impressive show of the Wii U’s graphical capabilities. There’s no point arguing if the game is 720p or 1080p, from this POV, it simply looks gorgeous.
Xenoblade Chronicles X will be released exclusively for Wii U in 2015.
