Alien: Isolation’s fourth add-on pack, titled Lost Contact, is available starting today.
Sega has announced that the DLC is set to include a new Salvage Challenge into the game’s survivor Mode, which pits players against an increasingly difficult series of 10 challenges on a new map featuring some of the game’s most difficult enemies.
In Lost Contact, players are stranded on a remote section of the space station and have, as the name suggests, lost contact with the rest of the crew. Playing the role of Axel, players must navigate through the maze-like corridors and crawl spaces of the map to survive against a host of scary things.
Lost Contact gives players with only one life, while each challenge offers a new objective and enemy type. Once a challenge is completed, players are awarded points and reward unlocks. Players can then decide whether to trade their points for a save slot at the expense of their final score on the game’s leaderboards.
