Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen spoke about the next Titanfall game at the 2015 Technology, Internet & Media Conference, which took place Monday.
Though the game remains unannounced at this time, Jorgensen stated that Respawn Entertainment would likely develop a new Titanfall game and that it may be getting released on more than just the Xbox One and PC this time around.
"Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven't yet announced, but we'll probably have another Titanfall game,” said Jorgensen. “It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that's a huge positive for us."
The original Titanfall was released on the Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC in March 2014 and its sequel had long since been rumored to have been greenlit by the publisher due to the success of the first game, and that unlike the first game, it would see release on the PlayStation 4.
Beyond Titanfall 2, Jorgensen stated that this year would see the release of both Battlefield Hardline as well as Star Wars: Battlefront. Battlefield 5 (or whatever the game is going to be called) will come out in 2016, he said.
