Final Fantasy 15's director Hajime Tabata has revealed that he wants a same-day global release for the game.
In an interview with LevelUp, a Mexican website, Tabata declared that he doesn't want to see a big delay between the Japanese and Western launch.
"I'd like to be able to do a worldwide release," he commented, "We don't want to impose any big delays to players from around the world, so I'm hoping that everyone will be able to play the same Final Fantasy 15 together within as close of a time frame as possible."
Tabata is overseeing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, and first run copies of that game will include Final Fantasy 15 demo codes when it's released on PS4 and Xbox One on March 20th.
Final Fantasy 15 is still expected this year but does not currently have a release date.
