Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel came out late last year to some mixed reviews. Some touted its solid gameplay and stellar plot, while others bashed it for staying too true to form. The general consensus for The Pre-Sequel was that it was a strong game that Borderlands fans could enjoy, but didn't offer much forward movement for the series. The game's lackluster outing thus far could be attributed to the fact that it's not a main series entry, as it is a prologue.
Some new playable DLC will be making its way to The Pre-Sequel. A new character named Lady Hammerlock will be offered to gamers at a price of $9.99. She comes equipped with a host of new skills for you use in your third or fourth run through Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Some gamers haved criticized developer Gearbox Studios for not doing enough to advance the game post-release, but if The Pre-Sequel has anything, it's a huge game world.
Enjoy it or wait until Borderlands 3!
