There are two major events going down this weekend: MAGFest in National Harbor, MD, and PAX South in San Antonio, TX. Obviously, MAGFest is the show to end all shows, but if you drew the short straw and settled for PAX instead, Nintendo will be around to lift your spirits with the North American debut of New Nintendo 3DS XL!
Nintendo's latest handheld revision will be available for demo during the show, with copies of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS running in all the machines. As you may be aware, these three titles all feature enhancements when played on a New 3DS, so this is your chance to be sold on the upgraded hardware.
If you dress up like a Zelda character, you'll be able to cut in line and play Majora's Mask 3D ahead of everyone else. In addition, Nintendo will conduct a "72-Hour Mask Challenge," which tasks fans with making their own masks — follow Nintendo of America's Twitter account for more details.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and New Nintendo 3DS XL will all launch on February 13.
