We already know that Nintendo is holding a Direct stream tomorrow, during which we expect to hear North American release details for New Nintendo 3DS. If the handheld revision is to be released on February 13 as rumored, it follows that certain retailers will already have promotional materials ready.
The above flyer was discovered by NeoGAF member Wario64, who claims that this is what GameStop will use to advertise the new machine. Compared to past 3DS marketing, this paints the device in a much more sophisticated light. It reminds me of how Nintendo pitched DSi XL as a luxury item for adults.
Rather than the vanilla New 3DS, this ad showcases New 3DS XL model. It also promotes The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, both which ought to be released early this year. Does this mean both games will also arrive on February 13?
Of course, this could be an elaborate fake. We'll know for sure after tomorrow.
