Naughty Dog is serious about focusing on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. How serious? They’ve revealed they’ve stopped doing any brainstorming for future The Last of Us games.
Neil Druckmann has previously said that they understand the demand for a sequel to the story of Joel and Ellie, and they feel the same way, but that the chances of such a game being made was 50/50.
Now, Druckmann confirmed that they had been doing brainstorming for such a sequel, but now all brainstorming has been put on hold.
Druckmann also wants to make it clear that it’s not 100 % guaranteed that The Last of Us will even get a sequel at all, but Naughty Dog is seriously considering it.
For the moment, we can look forward to Uncharted 4, which has been two years in the making. It will release this year, exclusively to PlayStation 4.
