A few days ago, hacker Mema Haxx posted this video of the Duck Hunt amiibo getting scanned into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. What's so special about that? It's because the Duck Hunt amiibo doesn't exist yet. Haxx was able to access the amiibo data in the game and trick it into generating a "Duck Hunt Duo" Figure Player.
These steps have been repeated to bring Mr. Game & Watch to life. This time, however, Haxx went to whole nine yards and recorded footage of the G&W FP — named Denny — engaged in battle against Mario and Peach.
Neither G&W nor Duck Hunt are part of the third amiibo wave coming in February. Perhaps we'll have to wait until the fourth or even fifth wave before we see their mugs in the plastic flesh.
