GamingBolt has some Final Fantasy 15 updates from Comic Fiesta 2014, which cover aspects of the game including the summon system, the day and night cycle, and unique weapons.
One area in the game, the town of Lestallum, is partially inspired by Malaysian culture, and this is depicted in the artwork for the area, which shows Malaysian-style food being made.
The NPCs in Lestallum will also stand out from those elsewhere in the game but it's not entirely clear whether this added spice is limited solely to their appearance. While at the campsite, Ignis will handle the cooking, and what he prepares will change based on the ingrediants players provide him with. You'll also need to camp in order to level up.
Final Fantasy 15's day/night cycle sees one hour in real time equate to 24 hours in-game, with 40 minutes of daylight and 15 minutes of night. Presumably the remaining five minutes are dawn and dusk.
Titan, a large creature previously revealed by Square Enix, can't be summoned in the upcoming demo, but other creatures can be. The game will also feature a "unique weapon system" which will offer the player different move sets.
Access to Final Fantasy 15's demo is included with first-run copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which is set for release on PS4 and Xbox One on March 17th, 2015.
