A little more than a week back, we informed you that the latest One Piece game on 3DS, One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X, would be getting amiibo support in the form of Nintendo character costumes. At the time, we saw Luffy dressed up as Mario and Luigi, Zoro as Link, and Sanji as Fox. Now in the above trailer, you can check out the full Straw Hat crew and the incredible outfits they're rockin'.
Nami gets to strut her stuff as Wii Fit Trainer, Usopp slips into a Yoshi suit, Chopper wears a Kirby hat, Robin does her best Samus, and Franky beasts out as Donkey Kong. But the best is Brook, who poses as Marth but gets to keep his signature afro. Also, Zoro dons Majora's Mask for one of his special moves, suggesting that signature Nintendo items may be wielded at certain times.
Super Grand Battle! X is of course Japan-only for now, but considering how many recent One Piece games have been or are getting localized, we may see this one when the New 3DS launches in North America next year. Hopefully by then, those hard-to-find amiibo will be back in stock — I want my Marth Brook, discontinued supply be damned!
