The One Piece x Dynasty Warriors series, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, is about to get a third entry. We already knew that, so that's not news. What is news is Bandai Namco's announcement that One Piece: Piece Warriors 3 will arrive in America shortly after its Japanese debut in March. Also, it will mark the series' debut on PS4.
There's a brief One Piece history lesson in the trailer above: It starts with Luffy's ambition to become a great pirate, his search for crew members, and so on until we reach current events. Whereas the previous Pirate Warriors featured an original story, it looks like Pirate Warriors 3 will again return to manga canon, at least judging from what is shown in this trailer. That means we're still stuck in the Dressrosa arc and the billion-pirate battle that just doesn't know when the end. At least you'll get to play as Sabo, Monkey D. Luffy's second "brother" who was previously assumed to have died as a child.
