Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire: New Video Shows Mega Stone Locations and More

December 19, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Close your eyes if you want to discover them on your own.

Heads up: If you prefer your Pokemon experience to be as pure as possible… well, not much you can do about that now, since many of the secrets and surprises were spoiled before the games even launched. Nonetheless, players picking up Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire this month will likely want to discover whatever secrets remain on their own. If you are one of those people, you might want to skip the above trailer / help guide that The Pokemon Company just uploaded.

For everyone else, this new video shows the location of several Mega Stones, which will allow you to Mega Evolve certain Pokemon in your party. It also demonstrates how you can easily obtain partner Pokemon like Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott. Furthermore, it reminds everyone how StreetPassing unlocks new Mirage Spot and about the kinds of minigames you can play to build your Secret Base.

If you don't already own Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire for 3DS, maybe Santa will pay you a special visit this year.
