Bloodborne Enemy Revealed, Wields Huge Club

Bloodborne is a game coming exclusively to the Playstation 4, courtesy of Dark Souls developer From Software. The game is noticeably bloody and violent, but we're not sure what else to expect from the Japanese developer. We've become so accustomed to their style of game development that it'd be strange to see them come out of the gates with anything other than their grungy, atmospheric, sword-swinging titles.

However, the protagonists of From Software's games aren't the only ones swinging metallic objects around at high velocity. There's a host of bad guys and gals that you have to fight your way through in Dark Souls, and while Bloodborne might be a new intellectual property, it still follows the fantasy hack-and-slash formula that we've come to know and love.

If you've been waiting to see what kind of enemies you'll face in Bloodborne, then we can ease that anticipation, if only a little bit. The official Bloodborne Twitter page recently published a couple of tweets that offered some new information on the game's enemies. It appears that there will be a big reveal on December 18, in just a few days. This comes in addition to a somewhat cryptic screenshot of one of the game's enemies.

It goes without saying that it looks like getting hit with that thing in this monster's hands would probably do quite a bit of damage? Is it a boss? A lowly creep? We'll find out on December 18, hopefully.
