Far Cry 4 Patch Offers Friendly Environment for Streamers

Ubisoft might be having a hard time preparing games for release, but when it comes to offering post-launch support, they're on the ball. Far Cry 4 is one of the few games that Ubisoft has published recently that has not been plagued with a number of bugs or issues. Take one look at Assassin's Creed: Unity and its launch debacle, and you'll see that the difference is quite apparent. That said, Ubisoft has done a fine job of providing bug-fixing updates to all of their games, no matter how good or bad their launches were.

A new patch for Far Cry 4 offers improved streaming capabilities, as well as some other cool, new features. Some of these include: more varied aspect ratio support, improved graphics and various smaller bug fixes.

• Fixed various Graphic issues

• Fixed various UI issues
• NVIDIA graphics preset was removed
• Reduced performance drop impact during streaming

While it might seem bad that Ubisoft has had so many post-launch issues with their games, it could be a blessing in disguise. There will be a ton of gamers receiving Ubisoft games for Christmas, and they'll all be patched up and ready to go.
