While the big Black Friday/Cyber Monday might be well behind us, the online holiday deals will probably continue on through Christmas. If you've got a gamer or two on the list you might look into Best Buy's "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" Video game sale.
From time to time you'll see "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" sales on used video games, but the best part about this sale is that Best Buy is offering these up for new titles. It's especially good for getting discounts on Fall 2014 releases like Far Cry 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Grand Theft Auto V.
Best Buy has a whopping 877 games to choose from on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms. As far as the number of games for each platform, the breakdown goes like so:
- PlayStation 4: 107
- Xbox One: 96
- PlayStation 3: 329
- Xbox 360: 253
- PC/Mac 92
While the sale should still cover the majority of gamers, there are some missing games on this list that would have been nice. Curiously missing are Wii U, 3DS, and PS Vita games as well as Pre-order Video game titles like Evolve.
The discounts are even better at Best Buy if you're a "Gamers Club Unlocked" member. Though you do have to pay a yearly fee to have that subscription, you will get an additional 20% off this BOGO offer.
