Dragon Ball Xenoverse: Over 80 Minutes of Game Footage and Interviews

December 8, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Pre-recorded from a recent Bandai Namco livestream.

Still on the fence over whether or not you should grab Dragon Ball Xenoverse when it launches next year? Well, I don't buy that. If you've played any Dragon Ball game in the past decade, there should be no doubt in your mind if you'd be ready for even more battle screams and planet-shattering laser tennis matches. But for that small slice among you who haven't decided, Bandai Namco is here to assault your senses for nearly an hour and a half.

Taken from a recent livestream, this footage touches upon a lot of what fans have been curious about, namely the character creation suite. As you are well aware, the star of the game is a custom character who polices time and tries to undo changes to the Dragon Ball timeline that a pair of new villains have effected. Your hero or heroine can be carved from one of the DB universe races, like Saiyans, Majins, Namekians, Earthlings, or Frieza's species. Of course, you can still battle it out as one of your favorite fighters outside of story mode, as demonstrated in the latter half of the video.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will hit Windows, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on February 17.
