Compare Resident Evil HD on PC to PS4, Xbox One

December 5, 2014 by Tony Ponce

I don’t see any differences, do you?

So we know that the upcoming Resident Evil remaster is coming to almost every platform — sorry, Nintendo, but Capcom's days of putting RE games on your consoles seem to be over — but, of course, you probably want to know which version will offer the most visual pop. Why don't you judge for yourself?

Above is footage from the PC build, and below is footage from the PS4 and Xbox One build. According to my eyes, they are pretty comparable, but I'm sure more astute tech heads will spot some smaller details in one side's favor. Though there is no footage of them here, remember that there are also versions for PS3 and Xbox 360. Other than a drop from 1080p to 720p, I wouldn't wager there are many differences on the lower-spec platforms, considering this whole project is but a spit shine of the GameCube remake.

Yesterday, Capcom announced that Resident Evil HD would arrive on all five platforms on January 20 for $19.99. Get yourself properly amped up until them.
