PlayStation 4 Black Friday Sale Clears Online Shelves

November 27, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

You can get a PS4 unit for as low as $330.

PlayStation 4 console units are one of the hottest items this Black Friday season and its no surprise that even in 2014, deals for the console are snatched up incredibly fast.

For this Black Friday, Newegg is selling thousands of units of PlayStation 4 for only $329.99 with free shipping – gamers won't even have to step out to the stores. This deal sprung to live when the clock struck midnight, and immediately after becoming available, over 2,000 units were sold in the matter of minutes. (Check here for latest deals if this Newegg offer is expired).

The tally currently sits at 5,600 units sold (as most people are asleep now) but it'll be interesting to see how quickly supplies will dwindle once most people are awake.

Another noteworthy PlayStation related deal on eBay this early morning is a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription card going on sale for only $39.99.

If you're reading this well into the day, the deals listed above are most likely expired but there are a number of other PlayStation 4 Black Friday offers also available:

At Walmart:

  • PlayStation 4 Bundle: GTA V + Last of Us Remastered — $399.99
  • PlayStation 4 + $50 Gift Card — $399
  • PlayStation 4 Bundle w/ 3 Games + Extra Controller — $449 (Cyber Monday offer)

At Best Buy:

  • PlayStation 4 Bundle: GTA V + The Last of Us Remastered — $399.99 (Available later today)

At Amazon:

  • PlayStation 4 Bundle: GTA V + The Last of Us Remastered — $399.99 (Available later BF)
  • PlayStation 4 Bundle: Lego Batman 3 + Little Big Planet — $399.99 (Available later BF)

The $399.99 Last of Us and GTA V bundle is in fact pretty standard fare and will be available at other national retailers such as Target and Toys R Us. Most store fronts should have plenty of units and from what we're seeing, this will be the PS4 holiday bundle offered up for sale through the Christmas season.
