Mighty Gunvolt DLC Arrives November 28

November 26, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Two Gunvolt 3DS themes will also go on sale that day.

Last week, when Inti Creates said that the free update and paid DLC for Mighty Gunvolt would arrive some time after the game's promotional period ended, we were expecting at least a mid-December date. But as a Thanksgiving treat to fans, the company is throwing an informal "Gunvolt Festa," and part of the festivities incudes releasing the update and DLC on November 28, the same day the game goes on sale!

In the video above, producer Keiji Inafune thanks fans for their support before introducing the English-language DLC trailer. As we said previously, the $2.99 DLC will add four new stages and bosses, two of which are pulled from Mighty No. 9. The free 2.0.0 update, on the other hand, will rebalance levels and tweak some of the playable characters' abilities.

Also arriving on the same day is a pair of 3DS themes, one based on Azure Striker Gunvolt and the other on Mighty Gunvolt. Both will set you back $1.49 each.
