Lucario amiibo Will Be Sold Exclusively by Toys R Us

November 20, 2014 by Tony Ponce

The Fighting / Steel-type Pokemon "doesn’t want to grow up."

If someone had actually taken me up on my bet yesterday, they would have been able to earn a nice chunk of change straight out of my pocket. I had predicted that Amazon would be the next retailer to announce an exclusive amiibo, but it turns out that Toys R Us beat the online shop to the punch. Who's that Pokemon? It's Lucario!

The Fighting / Steel-type joins Shulk and Meta Knight in the retailer-exclusive parade, which only consists of third-wave amiibo thus far. You have until their release in February 2015 to plot the route you're going to take from store to store should you want all of the toys to become part of your collection.

The first 12 amiibo will arrive tomorrow, November 21.
