Far Cry 4’s Launch Trailer Explores Everything You Need to Know About Kyrat

November 12, 2014 by Stephen Daly

And takes eight minutes to do it.

Far Cry 4 is coming to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 18th and to mark the game's release next week Ubisoft has now revealed an eight minute 101 launch trailer.

Rather than a short 'Hey, remember to buy our game next week' montage, Ubisoft has opted for a detailed look at the various game mechanics.

The trailer ends with a reminder that there will also be a season pass representing a 20 per cent saving on future content for the game. Those who buy the season pass will also receieve an exclusive day one mission, the Valley of the Yetis campaign.

Far Cry 4 is set in the fictional Himalayan kingdom of Kyrat, a country in the midst of a conflict inspired by Nepal's civil war and sees protagonist Ajay Ghale return to his homeland at his mother's bequest, only to be caught up in the fighting, meeting brutal dictator Pagan Min along the way.

You can watch 90 minutes of PS4 gameplay footage here.
