Wildstar is an MMORPG that many argue is changing the game. Focusing on a more happy-go-lucky feel rather than a dark, brooding setting, Wildstar offers a brand of action and humor that other titles haven't really been able to achieve. In a new update labelled 'Mystery of the Genesis Prime,' Wildstar will be seeing a huge host of changes and additions.
Wildstar's self-proclaimed "biggest patch yet" will be comprised of the following updates:
- The Defile, a new level 50 zone, gives players even more exciting places to explore, achievements to achieve, path missions to complete and lots of solo content for those who enjoy playing alone.
- The Black Focus provides small group (five-player) content where players are tasked with taking down the crazed Phagelord known as Koral the Defiler, who is looking to spread the Strain throughout Nexus.
- Siege of the Lightspire is a 20-person, five-part public mega event where players from both the Exiles and Dominion have to work together for a common cause.
- Journey to OMNICore-1 kicks off the Nexus saga, a multi-part story that is packed with new lore content that advances the story of Nexus even further. Complete with pivotal cinematics, memorable characters, unique gameplay mechanics and more, this content is designed specifically for solo players.
There will also be some major changes to the game's Runecrafting system. Carbine Studios say that they want it to be more rewarding and are offering new runes to players in this update.
Lastly, there will be new gear, achievements, and loot. Obviously, this should prove to mix up whatever formulas have probably fallen into place in Wildstar.
