Sledghammer Games have revealed the content of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s first update. They also reconfirmed their earlier statement regarding dedicated servers.
You can read Sledgehammer’s statement regarding the game’s servers verbatim below.
Advanced Warfare employs game servers hosted at data centers globally on all platforms and listen servers as part of our proprietary matchmaking system. Our goal is to ensure the best possible connection and greatest gameplay experience regardless of location and time of day.
As you can see, Sledgehammer is reticent to even acknowledge any issues with servers.
Here are the changes they have promised for the coming update:
· Prestige reset issues fixed
· In-game chat names will be moved
· A glitch turning weapon reloads into speed reloads will be fixed
· A glitch involving stats accruing in leaderboards after prestiging will be fixed
· Challenges have been adjusted to unlock camos for weapons
· Round based game modes will be adjusted in terms of win loss ratios
· eSports rules will be unlockable for private matches
