Final Fantasy 15 producer Hajime Tabata has shared new details regarding the game’s development. Lest you worry that the game will never be finished, Tabata claims they are already looking at a release window.
By release window, Tabata means they already know the year and what quarter it will be, but they are not yet announcing it. They are confident they can reach that target, but they are exerting all their efforts to ensure that they can get there in time. Tabata also states bluntly that it will take longer than fans expect, or want, it to be.
Development itself is going well, and the FF15 team has been in good spirits following the positive reception the game and their reveal had in Tokyo Game Show 2014. They are now in the process of making the final build of the game, and they need more people to work on it than the studio has to do so. For this reason, they are in the process of recruiting for their Tokyo office.
Final Fantasy 15 is planned for release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
