Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel came out last month to some pretty mixed reviews. While it scored mostly high, there were a number of people who shot criticism at the title. These critics of the game said that The Pre-Sequel rides the familiar Borderlands formula without stepping outside of the box in any great way.
While this might be true, we also have to remember that this is a story aside the main plotline. With that said, there's not much reason for its developers to aim too far outside the bullseye. We're sure that with the next iteration into the Borderlands series, there will be a host of new content to shake up a tried and true formula.
A new downloadable content package will be making its way to The Pre-Sequel on November 11, featuring Handsome Jack. You'll be able to play as Jack in game and win your foes over with good looks and charm. Though, the official Borderlands website states that shooting your enemies works just as well.
For gamers who have already picked up the Season Pass for The Pre-Sequel, you'll be able to access this material for free. However, for gamers who opted not to buy into the Season Pass, you have the option to buy it seperately for $9.99. The Season Pass is still up for grabs, so we'd advise you to hop on that train while you still can. The Pre-Sequel is sure to be heavily supported with downloadable content, so it's surely a worthy investment. The Season Pass will cost you $29.99, should you decide to buy in.
