Pikachu is no stranger to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The mascot of the Pokemon franchise has been a part of the annual festivities in New York City for the past 14 years. This year, however, he is adopting a new look — one more appropriate to the cooler weather. When you see the electric mouse floating above, he'll be sporting a cute green scarf and holding a tiny Snowman Pikachu.
Pikachu isn't the only game character on literal parade. From the poster above, Eruptor from Activision's billion-dollar Skylanders franchise will be looking down on the crowds. The power of little plastic figurines, am I right?
The 88th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will begin at 9:00 AM Eastern on Thursday, November 27.
