The Assassin's Creed universe is ever-expanding. Since Ubisoft announced that they would be pushing yearly iterations into the franchise, many of us feel that this might be too much of the series. I for, example, had to skip Assassin's Creed III because so many other games were coming out at that particular time. It made playing Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, which is the fourth numbered entry into the series, a somewhat awkward experience. Some plot points were revealed to me when they shouldn't have been and I had to do some research simply to find out what was going on. Though I have every intention of going back and playing the third entry, it feels more like a chore than anything else. Given that they charged so quickly into this yearly publishing plan, it appears that they have no worry about the amount of content that they can produce. The latest news on the Assassin's Creed: Chronicles alone is testament to that. Maybe I'm just a slow gamer compared to everyone else and all of this new content is a good thing.
Whether you're ready or not, Ubisoft is gearing up for its next release: Assassin's Creed: Unity. Currently set to release on November 11 – less than two weeks from now – the game has probably already gone gold. For those of you excited to hear this, Ubisoft has a little treat for you: a video which features a number of 'celebrities' playing Assassin's Creed: Unity. You'll hear the famed voices of David Attenborough, Morgan Freeman and even Arnold Schwarzenegger. The only caveat? These aren't really the celebrities – they're just impersonators. The video still makes for an interesting and laughable watch, though, so take a peek at it below. If nothing else, you'll get a pretty sweet look at the cooperative gameplay available in Assassin's Creed: Unity.
