Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Best Place to Farm Experience and Chests?

October 23, 2014 by Jacob Saylor

One Youtuber may have found the best place to farm experience and chests in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel came out last week to some pretty mixed reviews. While the consensus was that The Pre-Sequel is a good game by usual standards, it did not really cross any lines or set any new bars for future entries into the series to look up to. The game is downright fun and delivers that brand of awesome, Borderlands humor that gamers have come to know and love. With that said, we are more than willing to look past the minor flaws of reciprocity and enjoy The Pre-Sequel for what it is: a solid iteration into the Borderlands franchise.

The world of Borderlands in any version of the game can be pretty daunting. Its worlds are massive, requiring some time and effort in learning how best to navigate their sometimes dangerous reaches. When you tack on the fact that you need precious items, resources and cash to succeed and stay ahead of your competition, the problem becomes twofold: you have got to traverse these planets while being shot at. This creates a dilemma and some gamers may need a guide to help them get through the process of 'farming,' which is running through one or two areas repeatedly to reap the rewards in that specific zone.

Youtuber Ezort believes that they have found the best place to farm chests and experience in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. This solves our two-headed problem from earlier with ease. Ezort's farming route takes in and around the 'Crisis Scar,' a low-gravity area filled with tough enemies. The route Ezort takes is definitely going to take some practice, as there is some very timing-oriented usage of Claptrap's cloaking ability, as well as some really precise jumps.

Take a look at the video below, which shows Ezort doing what they do best:

Note: The farming run itself starts at 1:25.
