Activision and Sledgehammer Games have released a new gameplay trailer for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, and it is essentially a movie trailer edit for the game.
Not that this is a bad thing. Sledgehammer conceived of a story for Advanced Warfare that would work for an actual Hollywood blockbuster, and they knew how to play that up in this trailer. If you were not into video games, you might think this is a decent trailer for some new military sci-fi film.
Kevin Spacey has a presence here too, although this time he takes a backseat to telling the ministory of the game's premise. It's made abundantly clear that the game is all about action, with soldiers using overpowered tech against each other, and cities serving as impromptu battlegrounds.
The trailer alsio reveals a new Day Zero edition and a new release date. While most players will get the game on November 4, if you preorder the Day Zero edition now, you will get access to the game on November 3, a full 24 hours earlier, two exclusive weapons, the AK-12G Assault Rifle and the Crossbow B-2, and Double XP on November 4.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will be released on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
