Given the popularity of space based games – take a look at Destiny, for instance – it's no surprise that developers want to offer gamers a trek through any given universe. Set to release at an undisclosed time in 2015, Star Citizen will be giving players the chance to do just that. While we're no stranger to combat, even in space, one facet of Star Citizen continues to intrigue us: the fact that it is dubbed a "Space Trading" game. When you put combat and trading next to one another, you immediately begin to think of outlawish gambits like smuggling and the like, but Star Citizen is apparently much more timid than that. You play as just what the game name implies: a citizen of the UEE (United Empire of Earth).
The game has been shrouded in a haze of mystery and new details are beginning to emerge from the fog. Star Citizen, which is being developed on CryEngine 4, recently had some screenshots made available. These screen grabs detail what appear to be the game's 'MobiGlas' system, which is essentially the game's modern day equivalent of a smart phone. It brings all of your mobile computing together, whether it is messaging with friends or doing business with trading partners.
