Borderlands has been a super popular franchise among gamers. Its effort to combine RPG and first-person shooter elements has been taken to in kind. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is set to release on October 14 – just a couple weeks from now – and gameplay videos have begun to surface nearly every other day.
One video in particular finds itself narrated by developers from both Gearbox Software and 2K Australia. There probably isn't a more informative or knowledgeable source for you to hear from. If we were a gameplay video, we'd wanted to be narrated by these two…
At any rate, the video walks us through about eleven minutes of gameplay filled with humor and action. Gamers will find themselves working with a four player cooperative team, as per the norm for Borderlands. The developers playing also interact with Claptrap at multiple times throughout the gameplay video, which some of you may find pleasure in. Claptrap has become somewhat of a star within the series and its fan base.
The video also reveals an interesting nuance of the game – skill trees. While we haven't really seen the inner workings of the game so far, this walkthrough reveals the skill trees in their entirety. This allows you to start planning out your character before the game has even released, for those of you inclined to do so. It seems like an awful lot of work to us, but hey – that's alright.
Take a look at the video, which we've provided for you below:
